A novel way in which to make the most of summer evenings comes in the form of the Film4 Summer Screening Season. Every August, the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court at Somerset House is transformed into London's most original open-air cinema, with state-of-the-art giant screens and surround-sound. The big show under the stars runs through from 2nd to 11th August 2007 with nine nights of movie classics, cults and special previews making an ideal setting for an urban picnic.
